Before using the blender I tested it and the blending attachment made a rattling gear grinding sound like something was broken or about to break. My previous hand blender had a failure of the blending attachment. So when I heard the rattling on this blending attachment, I was concerned that something was loose and possibly ready to break – so I returned the item.
